Amanda Holden has added another string to her bow as she revealed she once starred in EastEnders back at the start of her career.
The Britain’s Got Talent judge made the admission during a conversation with her Heart Breakfast radio co-hosts Jamie Theakston and Ashley Roberts, as she confessed she used to hang out with stars of the show.

“When I left drama school, EastEnders was one of the first jobs I got,” Amanda admitted. “I had to look after someone’s stall for half an hour which was like four episodes or something.
“I was opposite Adam Woodyatt [Ian Beale].”
While it was her first job after graduating Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, it sounds like Amanda and co had a lot of fun in Walford.

Amanda, 49, added, “Ian Beale, I looked after a jewellery stall and he had his fruit and veg, there was a lot of messing around with rude fruit, that’s all I’m going to say.
“I had a lot of fun, it was a nice show to do.”
And since then, mum-of-two Amanda’s repertoire of skills has expanded and with it her earning potential has escalated.

As well as starring in Wild at Heart, the West End and being the longest standing judge on Britain’s Got Talent, Amanda now presents Heart radio’s breakfast show – the biggest commercial radio show in the UK with 4.6 million listeners – and is even in the running to replace Holly Willoughby on Celebrity Juice.
She may have missed out on the chance to step in for Holly on This Morning in 2018 after Philip Schofield reportedly scuppered her chances – which ended in a very public fall out.

Yet, Amanda still came out on top as months later she signed a £1 million record deal with Virgin EMI.
While some say you can’t have a solid career and a happy home life, Amanda seems to have it all.
“Because my life at home’s so wonderful, everything else seems a bonus,” she previously admitted.
So what is the secret to her 12-year marriage to Chris Hughes? “We can make jokes out of any situation throughout the best and darkest times of our lives.”
How lovely!
