LaNisha Cole is taking a stance against snapback culture and denouncing rumors that she’s pregnant again following the birth of her daughter, Onyx Ice, whom she welcomed with Nick Cannon in September 2020.
“No I’m not pregnant again,” Cole wrote on her Instagram Story on Thursday, February 2, as reported by Page Six. The film producer has been the victim of body shaming rumors as of late, many noting her “bigger” appearance.
Speaking out, Cole recognizes her body has undergone changes since the birth of Onyx — but relayed she’s “not in any rush to lose the weight.”
“You guys are so used to SnapBack culture that you can’t let a woman be at peace with not losing her baby weight in a week,” she continued. “Until then there’s just more of me to love lol ?❤️?.”
As a newly minted mom, Cole said hitting the gym is temporarily on the back burner as she focuses all her time and energy on her newborn and slowly getting back to work.
“I haven’t been working out like I used to just because I’ve been busy taking care of the empress and working,” Cole explained. She added there’s “so many other things that are more of a priority” than getting back to her pre-baby weight.
“I’ll work out again when she allows me to,” she quipped.

Onyx came into the world in September. She is Cole’s first child, but marked baby number nine for the Wild ‘n Out host, who went on to welcome three more kids in 2022.
In 2011, Cannon and his ex-wife, Mariah Carey, welcomed twins Moroccan and Monroe. He and Brittney Bell share sons Golden “Sagon,” Rise Messiah, and daughter Powerful Queen.
Cannon’s also a dad to son Legendary Love, whom he shares with model Bre Tiesi. He and Abby De La Rosa are parents to twin boys Zion Mixolydian and Zillion Heir and daughter Beautiful Zeppelin Cannon.
In August 2021, Cannon and Alyssa Scott welcomed their first child together; however, their 5-month-old son, Zen, tragically passed from a brain tumor that December. Exactly a year later, in December 2022, they welcomed daughter Halo Marie.
