Khloé Kardashian has apparently bitten off more than she can chew, and is reportedly $7 million in debt, to be exact — while finalizing the details of her newest L.A. mansion. It’s the latest in the multi-million dollar accumulation of Kardashian home loans according to The Sun, some of which have been supplied by “shady” business manager Louise “Lou” Taylor, who used to work for Britney Spears during her 13-year conservatorship.
The youngest of the Kardashian trio has already spent $17 million for just the land, which The Sun reports is next door to Kris Jenner’s own lavish $20 million home in their Hidden Hills neighborhood. Kris’s pad, along with real estate purchases from Kim Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, and Kendall Jenner, have resulted in approximately $132 million in overall debt for the famous family.

Some of the cumulative loan deals reportedly came with help from a suspicious lender — Taylor’s company, Tri Star Sports and Entertainment Group. Spears’ lawyers are currently investigating alleged mishandling of the singer’s $60 million estate, which was primarily controlled by Taylor and father Jamie Spears during her conservatorship, which ended in November of 2021.
Suspicious activities have been linked to the two appointees, reports The Sun, including allegations by Spears that she was “bugged” and “controlled through her medication” against her will.
Taylor has been tied to the Kardashians since 2019, when she became Secretary and Chief Financial Officer of the Kardashian Jenner Family Foundation, as reported by The Daily Beast. Since then, her company has also helped arrange property deals for Kim and Kylie.
Khloé’s new mortgage, handled through a Tri Star-associated trust called AR True Love, would be the latest in the controversial association with Taylor that has followed the Kardashians for the last several years.
While the third sister has been vocal in her #FreeBritney support, fans of the “Toxic” singer haven’t been quick to forgive the reality tv show family’s ties to the dubious business manager.
The Good American founder’s loan is part of a “trust deed with an assignment of rents,” which means that if Khloé fails to make her tax-inclusive $48,000 monthly mortgage payments on time, the bank is entitled to recoup a tenant’s rent, according to The Sun.
Of course, taking out a home loan of this size has its perks too, mainly the “generous tax benefits” the star is able to take advantage of, along with financial benefits associated with her using the home as a place of business, if she chooses.
For now, the mom-of-two is busy finalizing more interior details and showing off her new digs on episodes of Hulu’s The Kardashians.
