A lip reader has ‘uncovered’ Prince Harry’s ‘scathing’ remark about Prince William and Kate Middleton.
- Prince Harry’s ‘scathing’ remark about Prince William and Kate Middleton is ‘revealed’ by lip reader Jeremy Freeman who claims he’s worked out the phrase.
- The Duke of Sussex is thought to have made the comment during the annual Commonwealth Service held in London in March last year.
- This royal news comes as Kate Middleton takes over Prince Harry’s royal patronages ahead of his tell-all memoir
Prince Harry’s ‘scathing’ remark about his brother Prince William and wife Kate Middleton has been ‘revealed’, according to a lip reader.
The two brothers have been at the centre of a rumoured royal rift, that is believed only Princess Anne can fix, for a couple of years now and it’s no secret that their relationship became strained after Harry and Meghan gave a tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey earlier this year.
But rewind 12 months from that interview, to last March and it appears that Sussex and the Cambridge relationship was showing signs of trouble as the couples attended the annual Commonwealth Service, held in London’s Westminster Abbey in 2020.
Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle were already seated when Prince William and Kate arrive inside the Abbey to take their own seats.
A video clip shows the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge greet Prince Edward and Sophie Wessex before giving a short exchange with Prince Harry and Meghan.
Kate acknowledged Meghan, who replied with a smile before saying, “Hi.” Meghan then joined Harry in turning to William to say “Hello”.
But lip reader Jeremy then believes the ginger prince made a scathing remark to Meghan, as he appeared to say, “At least they acknowledged unlike last time.”
And as Meghan can be seen flashing a gentle smile and nodded to Harry in apparent agreement with what he had just claimed, Prince William who is sitting in the front row told Kate, “That was executed well,” Jeremy claimed.
The greeting of the Sussexes and the Cambridge’s can be seen at 7 minutes 14 seconds into the video below…
But just this week, the royal family hinted that they’ve built bridges with Meghan when they sent heartfelt birthday wishes to the Duchess as she turned 40.
