Pride Month is officially underway and although celebrations might look a little different this year, they’re certainly still going ahead in style. Each year, brands release limited edition collections to mark the occasion and this year is no different. Plus, in case you needed any more of an incentive to make a purchase, many of the Pride products have a charitable component attached to them via a donation to an LGBTQ organization. In celebration of Pride month, Versace has unveiled a limited-edition collection that includes a tank top (pictured here), swimsuit, underwear, a hat and slides. Proceeds from the collection will be donated to Pride Live and Arcigay.
To celebrate Pride month, Dr. Martens has reimagined its signature 1460 Boot with rainbow stitching, a rainbow heel loop and an embroidered rainbow flag. Plus, the brand is donating $25,000 to The Trevor Project, the world’s largest LGBTQ suicide prevention and crisis intervention organization.
Designed in partnership with Lululemon, these moisture-wicking, lightweight shorts are an easy way to inject a little Pride into your workout wardrobe. Plus, 20% of the sale profits from Peloton’s entire Pride collection will be donated to the Ali Forney Centre – the largest LGBT community centre in the US.
Converse’s iconic Chuck Taylor gets a rainbow makeover this month to celebrate Pride. The brand says the shoe is “a celebration of inclusivity and pride, in all its forms and colours” and “expands to include brown and black stripes – representing the power of diversity and inclusion.”
Sportswear giant PUMA has teamed up with ambassador Cara Delevingne on the ‘From PUMA With Love’ Pride Pack. 20% of all proceeds from the collection will be donated to The Cara Delevingne Foundation which supports LGBTQ+ organizations including GLAAD, The Trevor Noah Project and Mind Out.
Under Armour has released a Pride-focused collection which includes rainbow-adorned shoes, clothing and accessories, like this backpack. The brand has created the UA Pride Grant Program to aid LGBTQ+ non-profits impacted by COVID-19.
Apple has released two new Apple Watch bands (as well as a series of watch faces) in celebration of Pride Month. This band is made using individual straps of coloured fluoroelastomer which are machine die-cut and compression moulded together which results in each band having a unique rainbow pattern.
NYX has designed a limited edition, three-piece collection in support of It Gets Better Canada Foundation. 100% of all of the proceeds (up to $25,000) will be donated to the foundation to help its work in supporting and empowering lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer youth across the country.
Levi’s is donating 100% of the proceeds from its Pride 2020 collection to LGBTQ+ human rights organization, OutRight Action International. The collection is brimming with products that can worn well after Pride month is over, too, like this timeless trucker jacket.
In support of Pride Month, Banana Republic has pledged $60,000 to the United Nations Free & Equal campaign which promotes equal rights for the LGBTQ+ community. It has also released a collection of clothing and accessories to celebrate Pride.
